Mateo Fuentes

​is a printmaker residing in wild, wonderful, weird West Virginia. He earned his B.F.A. in Printmaking from West Virginia University. 

Mateo creates unique screenprints from a collection of misfit comic books. Mateo explores themes of personal reflection, anxiety, and religion all packaged in a halftoned world of horror, adventure, and the supernatural.

Each screenprint he makes is hand-pulled from his living room printshop in Southern West Virginia. Mateo prints under the moniker of Art.Monsters.Printmaking.
